Spent a lot of the day giving design feedback and working with the designers on the team. Constant feedback helps keep them on target. Then I met with a designer at Spotify that will be a guest on Season 2. Biggest win was sending off the contract to the bootcamp. Here we go!
The first item on the docket today was reviewing designs from the team. I hadn’t done a deep review of things in a couple of weeks so this was good.
Guy had prepped new versions of the logo with updated colors but I wanted to experiment with a couple of more versions before finalizing it. Going to keep the red center and then experiment with alternating colors for the fingers. On a side note, I only realized today that the logo looks like a shooting star. I love that.
On the product side, there were mostly minor things from the designers to check. A slightly big change I made was changing button colors. We were using the red color as the final action button but it was throwing me off. Red is associated with cancel. Then the green was being used too much. So we switched up when each color button is used to fix psychology.
Contract news is that I sent over the finalized contract to the potential partner along with instructions for their students. Now, we wait.
Spent the rest of the afternoon mostly working on the Bootcamp Grad landing page. Added a couple more sections and tweaking copy. Then spent some time making the footer include links to the new pages. Didn’t finish it up but it is 90% done.
In between, I had a meeting with one of the designers to further guide them. It’s always hard getting someone to grasp the full picture of a product. I haven’t figured that out yet but meetings are one way that helps.
I also had a pre-meet with one of the guests for Season 2 of our show. Very interesting personality and story. With 4 guests already booked and all of them from great companies, I’m super pumped for what’s coming.
